WASHINGTON, April 2 ? The Federal Communications Commission?s Wireless Telecommunications Bureau issued the following document:
By this Public Notice, the Federal Communications Commission?s (FCC or Commission) Wireless Telecommunications Bureau and Public Safety and Homeland Security Bureau seek comment on the uses and capabilities of Amateur Radio Service communications in emergencies and disaster relief. As set forth below, comment is sought on issues relating to the importance of emergency Amateur Radio Service communications and on impediments to enhanced Amateur Radio Service communications. Stakeholder entities and organizations, including the Amateur Radio, emergency response, and disaster communications communities, are particularly encouraged to submit comments.
BACKGROUND
The amateur radio service is available for persons who are interested in radio communications techniques solely with a personal aim and without pecuniary interest. It presents an opportunity for individuals to self-train, communicate with other amateur radio licensees, and carry out technical investigations. The amateur service rules are designed to allow, among other things, stations in this service to make transmissions necessary to meet essential communication needs and to facilitate relief actions. Amateur radio operators have been useful in recent years in augmenting essential communication services and providing communication links when normal communication systems are overloaded or not available. For example, amateur radio operators provided storm observations and damage reports to the National Weather Service when winds and tornadoes moved through Arkansas and Alabama in January 2012, and provided communications to villages along the Bering Sea when a November 2011 severe winter storm knocked out power lines and communications.1
Public Law 112-96, the Middle Class Tax Relief and Job Creation Act of 2012, requires the Commission, in consultation with the Office of Emergency Communications in the Department of Homeland Security, to complete a study on the uses and capabilities of Amateur Radio Service communications in emergencies and disaster relief; and submit to the Committee on Energy and Commerce of the House of Representatives and the Committee on Commerce, Science, and Transportation of the Senate a report on the findings of such study.2

. Although in my previous article I showed how to install the RSAT for Windows 7 is not so easy when you want to manage Hyper-V Server when both are in Workgroup. And as you might have this scenario?, It is very simple when you do tests, such as in this case I have a server where I want to install SBS2008, but I want to virtualize, the best way to do here is use the free version of virtualization: Hyper -V Server 2008 R2, once installed this (found in Workgroup), from my laptop I need to manage it, to illustrate this scenario you can see in the figure below. Well wanting to make the Hyper-V is enabled remotely both my client and server (both in Workgroup), I found this tool that was excellent and is quite simple. This tool allows you to configure a very simple remote administration whether you have a Workgroup to Workgroup configuration, or workgroup to domain or domain to domain. In this specific case the setting is Workgroup to Workgroup. The file you find there is called: hvremote.wsf (Version 0.7), and must be run by command line with the required parameters in both the server and in the patient. We explain the Workgroup to Workgroup configuration, my Hyper-V is a Hyper-V Server 2008 R2 (free version) and my client is a Windows 7 Ultimate. The steps are simple (as explained on the site), but one always wants to make sure that I install another without any problem, so I'll do it step by step
Although the documentation makes it very clear that you check the DNS, in Workgroup scenario need to edit the hosts file (located in C: \ windows \ system32 \ drivers \ etc), with the necessary information, in I put my information if Hyper-V on my machine Windows 7:. weeks had willingly set, in fact had already been achieved and the connection trone and could reformat or reconfigure it, had not seen your post because the firewall restricting me your page. I was elated and I explain it, as had been the administration of hyper v from my windows 7 but something I had trone the connection and the server formatié HyperV. Well wanting to reconfigure it to manage the server from my laptop with windows 7 I had been impossible until now, but your post it achieved in less than an hour complete with firewall enabled. only say that I miss you when you open the notebook you should do with admin permissions to let you modify the hosts file. Hi I'm starting in the virtualization environment and want to start testing its features, I installed the Hyper V server on a computer but do not install the driver network controller, I would like to know how to install desd ela console. A doubt: Hyper-V server maintains the firewall turned on
