I have developed a love(obsession) with hoarding foundation bases.I love heavy coverage foundation although I don?t need it but I like the ?made up?, ?doll-face? look a lot. When I was searching for a new base online, I found this one to be medium-heavy coverage and the very next day, I purchased it!!! I like purchasing from the counters rather than online websites as almost all the brand SAs know me and I get lots of gifts on single purchases also. - Shade:The shade no.53 light beige is kind of a neutral shade having beige undertones. The shade that was on tone darker than this was looking ashy on my skin and this one seemed to be brighter so I took this shade.

- Packaging:The packaging is unique with a glass bottle with a pump dispenser having a sponge applicator on top. The sponge is soft but I haven?t ever used it as I want my product to be clean. I always used square sponges or a stippling brush for foundation application.However,the packaging is not travel friendly as the bottle doesn?t close securely so there are chances of it falling and breaking.

Texture, finish & staying power:The texture is smooth, non-shimmery. The coverage is medium in a single coat which can be build up to a heavy coverage if needed. It hides minor skin flaws, redness in single layer. The finish is very matte and a good moisturiser is needed for proper blending otherwise it looks patchy on skin.It feels very light on skin and has a pleasant flowery fragrance. I feel that this foundation sometimes accentuates dry areas of my skin as I have a combination skin.Staying power is great upto 8-9 hours. It doesn?t smudge or transfer to other objects.

- The packaging is pretty but not travel friendly.
- It is very matte so not suitable for dry skin.?Also,it makes my combination skin look patchy sometimes.
- It looks natural under normal light/sunlight but doesn?t photograph so well.
- Need to be blended quickly.
- A little expensive.

Recommendation:After Deborah , I have started loving Bourjois and I totally heart this foundation. With a primer, it becomes more blendable. Great for oily skinned beauties.
